About Me

Lil’ Hidden Treasures

Hello! Welcome to Lil’ Hidden Treasures! I am so glad that you stumbled onto my website. Why don’t you grab yourself a cup of tea and let me introduce myself to you?

I’ve grabbed myself a cup of tea too!  Now, where should I begin?

My name is Lilian. I’m the girl behind this blog. This is me in the middle, sandwiched between my two adorable kids.

I am a wife, a mother, a daughter, a sister and a Christian.

I love my family, my home, my friends, and my faith. My greatest and most precious treasure is Jesus Christ who is my Savior. I hope that I live my life that is worthy of His calling.

Where did I get the idea of naming my website Lil’ Hidden Treasures? Well, I chose Lil’ because it means “little” and it is also the name that everyone calls me by. I introduce myself as Lilian but most people prefer the short form Lil, which happens to be quite fitting because, at 5 feet,  I am little.

I decided on Hidden Treasures because I believe there are many treasures that are waiting for you and me to discover, to experience and to remember.

What are some of my treasures? Some of my treasures includes special memories, my home, my family, and my friends.  I even find treasure from other people’s cast off. I truly believe “one man’s trash is another man’s treasure”. I love finding “trash” on a bargain, add a little bit of elbow grease, and it becomes a “treasured trash”!  Here’s an example of what I mean:

I know they`re not the best pictures but at the time I was not thinking I will ever blog! You have no idea how much I love this oak table which was found at a corner of the sidewalk, by my mother-in-law, on garbage day.

This is what I intent this blog to be… A documentation of my journey as I embark to find more hidden treasures, and an inspiration to you to discover your own personal hidden treasures.

I am thrilled that you were able to stop by for tea! I am always happy to hear about your own personal journey in finding your own treasures as well. So, don’t be a stranger and stay connected!

XOXO  Lil
